Beginner Chess

Introduction

"Every chess master was once a beginner" -Irving Chernev

Chess is a 2-player strategy board game. It consists of a board with 64 squares on an 8x8 grid. Both players "white" and "black" get 16 pieces: 8 pawns, 1 king,
1 queen, 2 rooks, 2 knights, and 2 bishops. Each set of pieces move differently, and will be covered in The Basics. Opponent's pieces can be captured by placing a piece
on one of the opponent's pieces. The main objective of the game is to get a "checkmate", where the opponent's king is surrounded and cannot escape to another square.
